stampin' up sale-a- bration avant garden

Hello everyone! Here's a couple of cards I made with the Avant Garden stamp which was one of the free stamp set in this year's Sale-A-Bration catalogue. These cards use only the outline flower and leaves from the set. I am hoping to make a few more this weekend with the other floral pattern.

This card is a simpler version and I just love the CAS look. In both the cards I stamped the image in Smoky Slate and did some simple water colouring.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Papertrey Ink November 2016 Blog Hop Challenge

Hello! Here’s the inspiration photo for this month.

I really love the look of gold and hawaiian shores. Since I didn’t have any cardstick with me, I decided to blend some hawaiian shores ink with a mini round blending tool. I then stamped the smallest round dot from the Bits & Buttons Mini Stamp set and embossing it with gold embossing powder.

I finished off the card with the sentiment and the pine needles embossed in white on a piece of black cardstock. I drew a few circles with the Versamark pen and embossed it gold too and then adhered the black panel to the bottom of the card.
Thanks for stopping by.Have a lovely weekend.

Stamps: PTI Peaceful Pinecones, PTI Bits & Buttons Mini Stamp set, PTI Silent Night

bow tie spinner card

I used the bow builder punch from Stampin' Up to make this cute bow tie. Instead of placing a shirt on the card front, I decided to do a rectangle die cut and adhere a collar to make it look like a shirt. The bow tie just finishes it off!
Have a great day!

SSS wednesday challenge: animal magic

Hello everyone! It's winter solstice here in the southern hemisphere. And even though it's cold and wet, it is perfect for card making. Here's my card for this week's Wednesday challenge. I stamped the image and then coloured it with copics. For the background, I blended some distress inks and then blended some more using the large dot stencil. I then added some glossy accents on the balloon and the party hat and finished off the card with a white embossed sentiment on some black cardstock.
Thanks for dropping by. Have a lovely day!

hello winter

It is officially winter here in Australia. My favourite time of the year. I have to admit that even with rain and grey skies and I still love it.
