bunny shaker card

My second shaker card! Really enjoying making these lately. I started with some white embossing a dotted background stamp onto a soft blue cardstock. To create the balloon, I die cut a circle and attached a small piece of white cardstock at the bottom to make it look more like a balloon. After filling in the sequins I adhered the entire panel with some craft foam onto the front of a regular size card. I then die cut some clouds from both vellum and white cardstock and adhered it onto the card front. After stamping the bunny I did some copic colouring. Using the coordinating die I cut the bunny and attached it onto the card with some black and white twine. Finished off the card with a sentiment from the same stamp set.

first shaker card

Yes, my very first shaker card! I started by doing some distress ink blending to create the night sky. To create the moon, I did some partial die cutting using the stitched circle dies. I did some additional blending on a separate piece of cardstock to create the grass hill. After filling in the sequins I adhered the entire panel with some craft foam onto the front of a regular size card. I then added some white stars using the star border die and finished off the card with this cute stamp from Mama Elephant and heat embossing the sentiment with some white embossing powder.
Thanks for stopping by.

frozen

Throwback Thursday to when we were standing at Prospect Point watching the frozen Naigara Falls. It was breathtakingly beautiful and was worth getting wet and the freezing temperatures. This was taken as we watched the sun set on the Canadian side.
Have a happy Thursday!

sending smiles

In today's card I used the cute Arctic Penguins and made a cluster of them by masking a couple of them. I then cut out a window and around the image with a craft knife leaving a white border. On another cardstock I did some blending and embossed the sentiment with some white embossing powder. I then adhered the panel behind the image with some foam tape and finished it off with some faux stitching lines. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

hugs & kisses and Mama Elephant May's Stamp With Me challenge

This stamp set from Mama Elephant is just so adorable! I started by doing some copic colouring and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. The gift and the flower is from the Arctic Penguins stamp set. I used the stitched circles dies to cut out the three circles towards the left of the card leaving ample space on the right for the balloons and the sentiment. I finished the card by popping the white panel onto a cream cardstock using some foam adhesives. Hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by.

hip hip hooray

In these cards I have used the Party Pals stamp set from Paper Smooches in two ways. On the first card I stamped the image with black ink and with Antique Linen distress ink in the second card. I wanted to achieve a no line colouring look but there was a bit of goof up and I drew in the image with a Rusty Hinge distress marker to make the image pop up a bit more. I adhered the card on to a white card stock and some patterned paper. Which one would you go for?
Thanks for dropping by.

watercolour card for SSS Work it Wednesday April 2015

Just love this cute stamp Furry Cat and Box from Simon Says Stamp. I started by stamping with some black archival ink and coloured it with some watercolours and then cut it out leaving a white border. I took a piece of watercolour paper and then did some water colouring with distress inks and splattered a few drops with my wet brush. I then finished the card off with a sentiment from the same stamp set and some natural twine.
Thanks for dropping by.
